Flora Danica was initiated in the 1790s and remains one of the world’s most prestigious porcelain services. Each piece is hand-painted after copper engravings from the botanical work Flora Danica (1761–1883), carried out by highly trained Royal Copenhagen painters. The series is internationally regarded as porcelain craftsmanship of the highest order and remains highly sought after by collectors worldwide.
